TEST SIEVES
(for particle size analyses)
The laboratory sieve is used either in a column to determine a material’s particle size curve or singly for making a cut-off.
In large diameters, the laboratory sieve can also be used to sieve powders.
DESCRIPTION
This equipment is supplied in accordance with standards NF ISO 3310-1 and 2 (or ASTM), which specify :
-
the dimensions of the frames
-
the standardised openings
-
their respective tolerances
-
the method of identification.
These sieves can be the subject of regular inspection (see the section on sieve inspections)
