Knitted and compressed knitted wire mesh
Knitted mesh is also a widespread technology in industry, for applications where a denser arrangement of wires than a conventional mesh is required, but which remains structured (connection between wires).
These knitted meshes can be used for soundproofing, dust removal, electromagnetic protection, filtration and separation of gases and liquefied gases, or to form defrosting and coalescing elements (Demister®) to collect liquid droplets in a mist.
The choice is directly linked to your constraints etc. operating temperature, type of fluid, environment, adv.
Mesh can be sold in rolls of any width, in panels of any geometric shape and transformed into finished products (filters, frames, cylinders, adv.) of any size.
Compressed knitted wire mesh can be used to make seals and filters in demanding and severe environments: High temperature, high pressure, mechanical stress, type of fluid, adv.
These tamped filters and tamped seals are used in thermal insulation or protection, filtration or separation of liquefied gases, anti-vibration devices, adv.
The following information is needed to specify your mesh and determine its price:
- Raw material,
- Stainless steel Aisi 304, 304 L, 316, 316 L, 316 TI
- Stainless steel, magnetisable (430 adv.), refractory (321 adv.), super duplex (318 LN), adv.
- Aluminium, nickel, brass, copper, synthetics, adv.
- Density
- Wire diameter : from 0.08 to 0.5 mm
- Fluid type and operating conditions
We are ISO 9001 certified and our design office is able to respond to your requests for both standardised and made-to-measure products.
